I posted this step by step photo tutorial because I struggled with understanding the process of double knitting. I could not find instructions on the internet that made sense to me, and it took me ages to work out how to accomplish this technique.

Double knitting is a great way to add a double layer of knitting to any item you are making, for added warmth and comfort. I like to use it for the cuffs of fingerless mittens, gloves etc…
