The double (envelope) border is used for the overlay mosaic crochet to hide the tails. The border is worked from front and back sides of your project and closes by working the last row through the loops of stitches of both borders to close it leaving the tails in between both border sides.
The written instructions are in addition to a
video tutorial Double Border. Easy Start. Three Magic Steps

It also includes:
one overlay mosaic chart
two simple border charts

Technique: Double Border. Easy Start. Three Magic Steps. For overlay mosaic crochet in rows

This technique does not involve neither working slip stitches all around nor front post stitches.

The technique that I have created uses “Three magic steps”:

  1. How to start your project. The requirements and the options for your project start
  2. How to work the first and the last stitches on each row
  3. How to work the first round from front and back sides

I share this technique with you for free. And it’s my pleasure to do that!
As it is free, I will not be able to send you the updates (if any). I will be sure to add the information in the description here below, so you can see if there is anything new. If you have it already in your library, delete it and then you will be able to download a new version.

I appreciate your support so much! Add it to you favorites, to your library, share it on Facebook, pin it on Pinterest, write a comment and, if you use it, please, don’t forget to mention that. Appreciate so much! You don’t necessary have to do all that ;)

PS the description includes some details that were not mentioned in a video.
