Dorothy
This lightweight yet warm vest is crocheted from squares and assembled by seaming the squares together from the wrong side. A button band is crocheted at the center front, and ribbing is added to the armholes and neckline. The ribbing brings the armholes and neckline to just the right fit, and the reinforced single crochets in the button band add structure. A casing is crocheted at the hem for an elastic cord, which is threaded through at the end.
