Lovingly designed to evoke the Wycinanki - Polish paper cutting - artwork of my dear friend Doris, the Doris Mitts are a symbol of unconditional love and friendship that knows no time or space. The simple and elegant mitts, knit from Martin’s Lab Zelazna Wool 2-ply (sourced from Poland) pairs perfectly with the stunning color palate created by Ovis et Cetera, and duplicate stitched with care with their stunning Quadruple Dutch yarn. They are the perfect knit for that special person in your life, but don’t forget to make a matching pair for yourself!
Ovis et Cetera has made Doris Mitt kits available for purchase! They are available here!
If you’d like to hear more about the very special inspiration behind this design, I talk about it on my podcast here!
