Inspired by breezy summer evenings off the Genoa coast, the elegant Doria Tee features generous sizing, a triangle cut-out opening in the front and a single-button closure at the center back. The I-cord edging adds a unique focal point at the neckline.

Doria is worked in the round from the bottom to the armholes. Each side of the front and back are worked flat with basic shaping techniques. Garter Stitch, Stockinette Stitch, and simple edging techniques make this a quick and fuss-free knit.

The pattern includes nine sizes to fit a 32 (36, 40, 44) (48, 52, 56) (60, 64)” or 81 (91, 102, 112) (122, 132, 142) (152, 163) cm chest circumference with up to 4” (10cm) positive ease.

The gauge is 22 sts and 32 rounds over 4” (10cm) in St st in the round, blocked.

This is an intermediate level pattern. Knitters should have experience knitting flat and in the round. Knitters will also use basic shaping and I-cord technique.

The recommended yarn for this pattern is Knit Picks Voliere (Lace Weight, 40% Linen, 30% Mulberry Silk, 30% Baby Alpaca; 274 yds/50g): 4 (4, 5, 5, 6)(6, 7, 8, 9) balls.

You can substitute any sport or DK weight yarn for this pattern. Note that Voliere is lace weight, but the yarn has quite a bit of halo due to the alpaca fiber)

You will also need 16” and 32” (40 and 80 cm) circular needles and DPNs in size US 6 (4.0 mm), or size to obtain gauge.

This pattern includes a schematic, written instructions, and notes on all techniques.
