This is a project for using all those odd balls of sock yarn that are left from completing other projects. You can choose to arrange your colours in a pattern, or just completely random. You can sort them according to the colour circle, only intercepted and framed by the crisp black and white contrast. Black and white, by the way, could be your brightest lime green and yellow, or a dusky brown and beige to calm down the blend of other colours. Be inventive, and you will have a stunning result!

This is the sort of project you could have one of cooking at all times!

The centre star is knitted in stockinette, and all the rest of the blanket is in garter stitch. The motifs consist of mitered squares, which are slightly modified to accommodate for the growing periphery of the circle.

Skills needed: working in the round, picking up stitches, increases
Yarn: 100g black fingering, 100g white fingering, 500g coloured fingering

Till den här pläden kan man använda alla små nystan av sockgarn som blivit över efter andra projekt. Sortera garnerna i färgordning, eller fördela dem som en färgcirkel med bara den svart-vita kontrasten som bryter av och ramar in. Istället för svart och vitt kan du förresten använda limegrönt och gult, eller beige och brunt för att lugna intrycket av de andra färgglada garnerna. Använd fantasin!

Mittstjärnan är stickad i slätstickning, och resten av filten är stickad i rätstickning. Modulerna består av dominorutor som är lätt modifierade för att fylla ut den ökande omkretsen på filten.
