This is a really simple fair-isle cowl that knits up very quickly. The pattern has a little quirk which turns your tensioning problems into a design feature. The more awful you are at tensioning, the more dramatic your finished cowl will be.

It’s very warm, and just interesting enough to make it worth knitting for someone else.
