Materials and gauge for dress:
1/2 ounce 3-ply baby yarn
embroidery floss
3 snap fasteners
- 9 stitches and 11 rows per inch with #2 needles
Materials and gauge for cape and muff:
1 10-gram ball of angora
small piece of satin for lining
1 hook-and-eye fastener
1-inch piece of ribbon
2 rhinestones
- 5 stitches and 7 rows per inch with #4 needles
The dress is worked in one piece; the skirt is seamed in the back. The bodice has a back placket with a crocheted edging and closes with snaps. The dress is embellished with embroidery.
The cape and muff are lined with satin. The cape closes with a hook-and-eye and is embellished with two rhinestones. The muff has a ribbon handle.
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
