Doll's Daytime Dress
She’s going shopping in a sleeveless dress with cabled top and ribbed skirt.
The title is “Doll’s Daytime Dress” in the Needlework & Crafts magazine. It is just “Daytime Dress” in the later publications.
Yarn: 1/2 ounce
Additional materials:
- one double-pointed needle
- two snap fasteners
- #7 steel crochet hook (US)
The dress is made bottom-up, flat, in one piece. It has a placket in the back that closes with snaps. It has a crocheted edging around the neck, armholes, and back opening.
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
