It’s sock hop time at school and every young lady’s doll must have a poodle skirt and cardigan sweater for the dance! This is an easy knitting pattern requiring knowledge of knitting-in-the-round for the skirt and includes the skirt, cardigan sweater and a headband. The embellishments are up to you! I used a store-bought applique for the pink skirt (really hard time sewing an iron-on applique on a knit garment! Whew!!), and I made my own felt poodle from a poodle template I found online to use on the lavender skirt. Of course, I went a little crazy at the craft store and added more bling including bows and charms for the sweater and little dog tags for the poodles!
