doll and bed
The bed is made of cardboard covered in pieces of stocking stitch knitted with the wool held double, then sewn together, with the base a little padded.
There is an under-blanket, a top blanket and a pillow knitted in garter stitch. The doll’s nightie is also knitted in garter stitch.
The remainder of the set is made in crochet and consists of the little doll, whose features are embroidered; a bed cover decorated with applied flowers; and a matching trimming for the outside of the bed.
The legs of the bed are also made in crochet.
The bed is approximately 4 x 7 inches, and the doll measures about 4 1/2 inches.
Any scraps of wool could be used for this project.
