The dog takes about 2-3 hours to make. This is an easy tutorial, perfect for beginners to learn how to crochet.
You need a small amount of yarn to make it, that makes it a great project for leftover yarn.

When you make the dog with cotton sport weight yarn and a 2.5 mm hook the size will be: 6 cm/ 2 inch.
You can make it bigger by using thicker yarn and a larger crochet hook. The Amigurumi dog on the right has been made with velvet yarn and a 3.5 mm hook.
