Part one starts at one side of the straight striped section. That section is long enough to cover the area between both of your ears and is knit back and forth. This section uses Linen stitch.
Thereon a ripped section follows. When the accessory is finished this section is used for tying up the hairband. The leaf-shaped ending that follows right after that ripped section, is made from Seed stitch. It gets it’s shaping from some yarn overs and decreasing at the edge.
