OPPSKRIFT
Diva tee er en elegant og tidløs topp. Den strikkes ovenfra og ned. Det strikkes først frem og tilbake til halsutskjæringen er ferdig formet, før arbeidet samles og strikkes rundt.
Det økes på retten før og etter skuldermaskene, samtidig som det formes en v-utskjæring. Videre økes det innenfor ermemaskene, parallelt med videre økninger til utskjæringen. Når korrekt maskeantall på forstykket er oppnådd, strikkes forstykkene sammen, og arbeidet fortsetter rundt.

For å sikre god passform økes det videre med klassisk raglan på ermer samt på for- og bakstykket. Når riktig maskeantall for ermene er nådd, settes ermemaskene til hvile. Deretter strikkes bol og skjørt med økninger for å gi en flatterende passform.
Toppen felles av med i-cordkant. Ermene strikkes rundt i glattstrikk og felles også av med i-cord. Til slutt plukkes det opp masker rundt halskanten, som felles av med en elegant i-cordkant.

Jeg anbefaler deg å prøve toppen på underveis i strikkeprosessen. Legg også merke til hvordan din prøvelapp har forandret seg etter oppskylling/bløtlegging, og ta dette med i beregningen når du strikker. På denne måten kan du strikke det perfekte plagget til din kropp. Ønsker du å strikke toppen, slik at du får en kjole med A-passform, kan du kjøpe dobbel mengde garn.

Dvs. at dersom du måler ca. 90 cm rundt brystet, skal du strikke en i str. S. Mål deg selv før du går i gang med å strikke.

Strikk gjerne en prøvelapp før du starter, for å sjekke at strikkefastheten stemmer. Merk at strikkefastheten er oppgitt etter at kjolen er skyllet opp.

Garnalternativer:
Brillino kan gjerne byttes ut med Paia fra Filcolana. Ønsker du et roligere inntrykk kan du bruke Tynn Line fra Sandnes Garn. Cosmo kan gjerne byttes ut med Merino 22 fra Dale Garn. Test gjerne ulike garnkombinasjoner som passer strikkefastheten.

PATTERN
Diva tee is an elegant and timeless top. It is worked top-down. First, it is worked back and forth until the neckline shaping is complete, then the work is joined and worked in the round.
Increases are worked on the RS before and after the shoulder sts, while at the same time shaping a V-neck. Further increases are worked within the sleeve sts, in parallel with the neckline shaping.

When the correct number of sts for the front has been reached, the front pieces are joined, and the work continues in the round.
To ensure a good fit, further increases are worked in classic raglan on the sleeves as well as on the front and back. When the correct number of sts for the sleeves has been reached, the sleeve sts are placed on hold. The body and skirt are then worked with increases to create a flattering fit.

The top is bound off with an i-cord edge. The sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette stitch and are also bound off with i-cord. Finally, sts are picked up around the neckline and bound off with an elegant i-cord edge.

I recommend trying on the top as you go along in the knitting process. Also note how your swatch has changed after rinsing/blocking, and take this into account while knitting. In this way, you can create the perfect garment for your body. If you wish to knit the top into a dress with an A-line shape, you can purchase double the amount of yarn.

The pattern is long, and some prefer to read the entire pattern before starting. Feel free to do so, but my main recommendation is to read this pattern section by section, sentence by sentence, and before you know it, you are finished.

Tip! Hold Cosmo double when you need to change yarn.

Size guide
A bust measurement of approximately 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) cm corresponds to size XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL). Recommended positive ease is approx. 5–15 cm. This means that if you measure approx. 90 cm around the bust, you should knit a size S. Measure yourself before you begin knitting.

It is recommended to knit a swatch before starting, to check that the gauge is correct. Note that the gauge is given after the garment has been rinsed/blocked.

Yarn alternatives:
Brillino can be substituted with Paia from Filcolana. If you prefer a more subtle look, you can use Tynn Line from Sandnes Garn. Cosmo can be substituted with Merino 22 from Dale Garn. Feel free to test different yarn combinations that match the gauge.
