Dispersion is a top-down half-pi shawl. Mini skeins are used along the increase rows to create a fun pop of color. The edge of the shawl uses an easy feather-and-fan pattern that can easily be lengthened with more mini skeins!

Finished Measurements
Width: 64”; Depth at widest point: 24”

Gauge
22 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st, blocked

Gauge is not critical for this pattern; however, a different gauge will affect size of shawl and amount of yarn used.

Materials

• 425 yards of fingering weight yarn in color A
• 525 yards of fingering weight yarn in color B
• US Size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 24” or longer, or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry Needle
• Blocking Supplies

Pattern Notes
A set of 5 mini-skeins was used for color B (CB). In the pattern, the mini skeins are labeled 1 through 5 (i.e., CB1, CB2, and so on). You may find it helpful to decide on the order you would like to use the mini skeins at the start of the project and make a note on the pattern.

The mini-skeins (CB) were cut and reattached in the designated areas. The single skein (CA) was carried along the edge throughout the shawl.

This shawl can be made larger by repeating the chart to desired length. Remember, adding chart repeats will affect the size of the shawl and the amount of yarn needed.

• 1 skein of Tough Love Sock from Sweet Georgia Yarns, 80% superwash merino/20% nylon, 425 yards/115 grams, in the color Snowfall (CA)

• 1 Tough Love Sock Party of Five Mini Skein Set from Sweet Georgia Yarns, 80% superwash merino/20% nylon, 525 yards/140 grams TOTAL (105 yards/28 grams EACH SKEIN), in the color Salt Water Taffy (CB)
