Dimitri
The final instalment of the Nordic Mitten Club takes us to Latvia. The Dimitri (which is not the Latvian spelling, but it’s how this Dimitri spelt his name) are made in Norwegian Rauma Finull, though I can highly recommend Latvian yarn for these. Thank you so much for taking part in the first Nordic Mitten Club. It’s been so much fun to explore different European knitting traditions!
I hope you will enjoy this pattern, and if you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me in my Ravelry group ‘Skeindeer Knits’. It’s the best place for swift support.
Yarn
Rauma Finull PT2 (100% Norwegian wool, 175 m / 191 yds, 50 g). Approximately 30-40 g of black and white each, and 20 metres of red and 10 metres of green.
Needles
Gauge-size needles, and 0.25 mm below gauge-size needles for working small circumferences in the round.
The sample was made using 2 and 1.75 mm (US 0 and 00) needles.
Others used 2.75 and 2.5 mm (US 2 and 1 1/2) needles to get gauge.
