Diamond Ring Mesh
by Judy Gibson
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This pattern is a very open lace with strong diagonal lines enclosing a ring in each diamond-shaped space. It is a 7-stitch, 12-row repeat, and is a fairly stable (ie, non-stretchy) fabric. It would certainly be suitable for something like curtains. A detail is shown in the webpage at the right.
The resulting fabric needs an edging of at least a single stitch on each side, as some rows end with a YO. The chart will show a K on each edge; the written instructions will say “edge” instead.
