Diamond Mittens
Diamond Mitts.
Size 7 and 8.
With one ball of yarn you can knit 2 mitts in 1 size.
(you can go down a size by using smaller needles).
Charts : 2
Pictures for support.
Starting at the bottom, working the chart for the hand and the thumb.
Then, when there are enough stitches, you separate the stitches for the thumb and continue with the hand. Then work on the thumb.
Making the other mitt will not involve reading the charts in mirror!
Smaller needles are used to make the ribbing at the bottom and top and the end of the thumb.
Gauge: for the larger mitten after blocking. The gauge is 33 stitches in stockinette but the fit is for 22 cm circumference.
