This beautiful diamond lace glove pattern is knitted flat with straight needles then seamed. (No need for the stress of yarn overs on DPN!!)

YARN – A solid, smooth yarn is recommended to compliment the lace work. Tosh vintage is a great yarn for these gloves. With a darker colored yarn, though a bit harder to work with, the result is very elegant and sexy, whereas a lighter color is easier to work with and more playful.

The lace stitches give the gloves a stretchy and forgiving size. However, if you wish to make XL or XS, try these gauges:
XL – 4.5sts/1” with US#7
XS – 5.5sts/1” with US#5
