The afghan is worked in cotton, alternating a lace pattern stitch with an eyelet pattern. The eyelets are woven with satin ribbon; the solid diamonds have a daisy stitch embroidered in each center. The unique point edging is an unraveled fringe; the fringe is actually knit into the edging and then unraveled to create a finished effect. Finished size is 52 inches x 66 inches/132cm x 168cm, not including edging.
