With an exquisite diamond cable and seed stitch pattern, and a fashionable knitted ruffle lace trim, these socks are so fun to knit that you won’t be able to put them down! This pattern includes options to knit these socks in ankle, knee high, or over the knee length to suit your sock wearing preferences. This design also gives you multiple yarn choices to choose from, from the super warm Patons Kroy Socks, to the light and breezy Knit Picks Stroll, to the gorgeous and breathable Knit Picks Hawthorne Kettle Dyed.

This sock design is worked from the toe up and has a short row heel construction. I made a video tutorial walking you through these techniques here :) Instructions are given for using a set of 4 double pointed needles, or a circular needle to use the magic loop method. Please note that I used US 2 needles for the Patons Kroy, and US 3 needles for the Stroll and Hawthorne - I would recommend checking your gauge to determine your needle size. The US 1 needles are used for the ribbing and knitted lace edge only.

The cable pattern is both written and charted.

Sizes:

5 sizes are given to fit Women’s US Shoe Sizes 5-12, for feet measuring 8.5-11” in length. The circumference of the finished sock foot is 7-7.5”, and the top of the sock for the knee high and over the knee versions is 11.5”. A recommendation is given for the height of each sock style, with the option to customize the length for perfect fit.
