The diamond panels of this bag are knitted using a modular knitting technique. The base of the bag is picked up from the edge of the side panel and knitted on as are the side gussets. The handles are knitted I-cord. Once the bag is knitted and made up it is felted in the washing machine.

A long colour change yarn is used to make the modular blocks look as if they have been knitted in different colours but it is a continuous colour changing yarn. The original yarn is no longer avaiable but the bag can be knitted in Noro Kureyon or any other yarn that is suitable for felting.
