Dia shawl
A flying, beautiful shawl in the light and luxurious yarns Isager Alpaca 1 and Spinni merino wool. Warm and luscious in dusty colors, with a good fit and plenty of draping options. The increases are like fine rows of holes along vertical lines of highlighted stitches, making the shawl light and airy. The shawl is finished with an i-cord edge. It’s reversible and equally beautiful on both sides. If buttons are placed at two places on the edges, the shawl can be used as a cardigan.

Gauge
21 sts and 30 rows on needle size 4½ / US 7 = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.
Directions
The shawl is started mid back at the neck and knitted
back and forth. Increase on the right side by yarn overs
forming decorative holes along strings of 4 defined stitches. Work 2 of these 4 sts alternately on every other row so that on each row you knit 2 sts and slip the other 2. In addition, decreases are made on every 4th row be- tween the increase lines of the defined stitches to create a clear wing appearance. Cast off with an I-cord.
