Needles: 3 mm/US 2.5 circular needle (60 cm/24”) for cowl size L and DPNs for wristwarmers. 2.5 mm/US 1.5 circular needle (40 cm/16”) for cowl size S.

Notions: Yarn needle and buttons if preferred for cowl closure.

Gauge: 21 sts and 40 rows with Alv held double and 2.5 mm/US 1.5 in Dewdrop pattern measure 10 cm/4” square.
26 sts and 44 rows with Huldra and 3 mm/2.5 needle in Dewdrop pattern measures 10 cm/4” square.

Notes: The cowl and wristwarmers are worked flat and seamed. The small size cowl is worked in Alv Kamgarn (laceweight) held double, while the large size cowl is worked in Huldra Kamgarn (fingering). The holes made by the lace can be used as buttonholes for the cowl if preferred.
