The Despina shawl, named for the sassy maid in Mozart’s comic opera, Cosi fan Tutte (School of Love), is heart shaped--naturally :)

The body is knitted in two-row stripes of garter stitch, and the lace border is knitted on. Border instructions are charted and written.
