Desert Sunset Shawl
The Desert Sunset Shawl pattern uses a slip-stitch pattern to create gorgeous texture and to showcase the beautiful hand-dyed yarns in rich colorways. The triangular shawl starts with a garter tab and is worked from the center neck down and outward to the points.
Difficulty Easy
Yarn Weight 1
Finished Size 69” wide and 24” tall.
Yarn Hedgehog Fibers Sock Yarn (90% superwash merino wool, 10% nylon; 437 yd 400 m/3½ oz 100 g): hunter (A), rusty nail (B), and swamp (C), 1 skein each.
Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 24” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker (m); waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle.
Gauge 19 sts and 43 rows = 4” in garter st.

NOTES
- This triangular shawl is worked from the center neck down and outward to the points.
- Slip stitches purlwise with yarn in back on right-side rows and with yarn in front on wrong-side rows.
- A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
