The shifting sands of the desert were my inspiration for this cables and lace design.

This pattern is ideal for fingering, heavy fingering and sport weight yarns to create a lovely drape to this warm and cozy stole/wrap.

Beads are optional (of course)!

Charts only. Concise instructions are included for grafting the second border and the wrapped stitches as well as for using the charts.

Patterning is mainly on the RS with knit, purl and twisted stitches on the WS.

It would be possible to make a smaller scarf size by using lighter weight yarn on size US #3/3.25mm needles and knitting the Medium size.

Testing is currently progressing very well in this thread.

Other: cable needle; tapestry needle; small crochet hook 1.0-1.15mm for beads; 420-460 8/0 or 6/0 seed beads
