Deruta Shawl
DESCRIPTION
This pattern is knit flat sideways and is part of the Umbria Collection. The design was inspired by the beautiful hand painted ceramics that made Deruta, Italy famous. I tried to imitate the unique balance of simple textures and the complex interwoven designs of Deruta ceramics.
This pattern has one size available.
SKILLS
This includes an intermediate level knitting pattern. The shawl is knit flat sideways. The techniques involved are knit, purl, kfb, m1L, slipped stitches, p2tbl, k2tog, p3tog, yo, ssk, horizontal braid stitch and one stitch cables. There are written instructions as well as a link to my instructional videos for most of the stitches. All Frosia Knits patterns are written in standard US terms.
