Der Kommissar is a cross over cardigan for men knitted from the top down. A twisted stitch motif runs down the raglan sleeves and the centre of the back while the rest of the garment is knitted in stocking stitch, with twisted rib borders. The twisted stitch pattern is inspired by typical knitwear garments from various areas of central Europe, particularly Bavaria and Austria. That’s why I chose a song by the Viennese singer Falco to name this pattern after.
1050-1150-1320-1450-1590 meters of worsted weight yarn (200 m/100 gr) required. Sample shown in Adriafil WoLi (70% wool, 30 % linen, 75 m/50 gr), colour 17.

Der Kommissar est un gilet croisé pour homme tricoté de haut en bas. Le gilet est principalement réalisé en jersey avec des bordures en côtes torses et un motif à mailles torses qui parcourt les manches et le centre du dos. Ce motif est inspiré des tricots traditionnels typiques de certains endroits d’Europe centrale, en particulier la Bavière et l’Autriche. J’ai donc choisi d’appeler ce patron d’après une chanson du chanteur viennois Falco.
La réalisation de ce modèle nécessite de 1050-1150-1320-1450-1590 mètres de fil à tricoter de type worsted (200 m/100 gr). Pour le modèle en photo j’ai utilisé le fil WoLi d’Adriafil (70% laine, 30% lin, 75 m/50 gr) dans le coloris 17.
