Dendrite Throw
Snowflakes come in many different shapes. The six-pointed star-shaped flakes are called dendrites (tree-like) thanks to their beautiful branches.
Each “dendrite” motif is made up of 6 triangles, which are worked modularly (no seams!)
This is a design I’m revisiting since my original publication for this motif in 2012- the modular triangle throw using plymouth yarn boku. I’ve been designing with this motif in several ways for many years,
Including my very popular ojo de dios shawl from interweave magazine published in 2013
Kits are available for the throw on my website and include the pattern for free
