Deciduous Tunic
Stately in appearance like a mighty oak tree, this sleeveless sweater has the perfect combination of pared-back details. Worked sideways in a rib stitch, the tunic features a hi-lo hem, stand-up collar, and interlocking side panels.
Difficulty Easy
Finished Size 37 (41, 45, 51, 55)“ bust circumference. Sample shown measures 37”, modeled with 3½” positive ease.
Yarn Zitron Finest Royal Alpaca (distributed by Skacel) (100% royal alpaca; 109 yd 100 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #6062 mossy path, 12 (15, 18, 21, 25) balls.
Hook Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Stitch markers (m), 4; safety pins, 12; yarn needle.
Gauge 20 rhdc and 16 rows = 4”, blocked.

NOTES
- Top is worked in one piece from left side to right side. Side panel strips that get twisted and sewn to side edges of front and back are integrated as piece is worked. Move marker up as work progresses.
