Here’s a shawl designed for a cousin who’s brand new to me! She found me on Ancestry.com and it’s wonderful to have more family! Her name is Debra and she’s down to earth, non-fussy, easy to get to know. She’s lovely!

The yarn is dk, so it works up quickly on size US 9 needles. Use size 10.75 (ravelry does not have a lasting for 10.75 when listing needle sizes needed, so it says 10.5 above) to cast on and pull down the points for a little drama.

You will need only 328 size 6/0 glass beads, Miyuki #412D and a size US 13/14 steel crochet hook for hooking the beads onto the shawl (easy to do and directions are included). The lace is charted and full directions for reading and working from chart are included.

This is an easy to knit shawl with minimal beadwork and a little easy lace. The shape is a long asymmetrical triangle. It’s easy to wear and will provide some warmth and also be pretty. It’s stockinette (stocking) stitch. Deb loves it and I hope you do too!
