Daydreamer
Daydreamer is a fun crescent-shaped wrap with a knitted-on lace border.
You first work the body from the top-down, alternating garter stitch, stockinette stitch stripes, and eyelets. Finally, you work the lace border sideways while simultaneously binding off stitches.
Using two colours of fingering weight yarn, this shawl is a perfect project for colour play. Will you go subtle or bold?
YARN
Two colours of Lanitium ex Machina BFL Silk Cashmere (70% wool, 20% silk, 10% cashmere; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g), one skein of both colours. Shown in custom colours Swan Lake (C1) and Graphite (C2).
Or two colours of similar fingering weight yarn.
AMOUNT OF YARN
Colour 1 (C1): 400 m / 437 yds
Colour 2 (C2): 312 m / 342 yds
NEEDLES

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
