I love a triangle shawl. I also love a mindless knit that isn’t just miles of stockinette stitch. The Day Dreamer shawl might just be my dream knit. This pattern combines garter stitch, with simple increases and a mindless lace pattern that is quite easy to memorize. I have included a “key” to the pattern for a quick reference so you can let your thoughts wander and day dream away as you knit this shawl.

I love the way this shawl knits up with a DK weight yarn, it is a little more light and airy (shown below) but it is also lovely in a worsted weight
