Our version of the Contiguous classic is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The shoulders are shaped using the Contiguous method by Susie Myers. Then, the sleeves are formed by k1, yo, k1 increases into the same stitch, along with simultaneous decreases. The hem, sleeve cuffs, and neckline are knitted in a ribbed pattern k2, p2.

NEEDLES:

Circular needles and dpns (or magic loop) US5 (4,0 mm) and US3 (3,25 mm), or needle size required to obtain gauge.

GAUGE:

22 sts x 33 rows in stockinette on larger needles for 4 x 4 inch (10 x 10 cm), gauge swatch washed.

TOOLS:

Stitch markers, darning needle, scraps of yarn or stitch holder for holding stitches aside.

TECHNIQUES:

Slanted increases m1L / m1R worked knitwise and purlwise, k1, yo, k1 into the same stitch, increases LLI / RLI, decreases k2tog / ssk.
