Daves balaclava is worked with double thread on thick needles, perfect for new knitters or to reduce your stash. Wear the balaclava with a thinner beanie underneath or as a scarf in your neck, one-colour, two-colour or rainbow-coloured.
The balaclava is worked as follows: Cast on stitches at the forehead and work the top of the balaclava. Cut the yarn and pick up stitches along the sides. Work the sides top down to your desired length.
