This pattern is part of Wabi-Sabi, The Beauty of Artisanally Made Yarns, published by Nomad noos.
The meaning of “Datsuzoku” revolves around being enlightened and above daily matters. It involves a transcendence of conventional ideas and traditional usage. It is rising above daily routine or the ordinary, enlightened to the true meaning of life, unworldly, softspoken.

NOTE
The pullover starts from the middle of the back with a provisional cast-on, and is worked up toward the shoulders. The back is split into two and the right and left backs are worked at the same time but separately with different balls of yarn to form a deep V. After short rows for shoulder shaping, the fronts are worked down first separately, then joined and worked to the chest. The front and back are joined by knitting a braid, then worked down in the round to the hem.
To add sleeves, stitches are picked up around the armhole and knit in the round and decreased to work the cuff.
