Construction
Darcy Blouse is worked from the top down. Short rows are used to shape the neckline, while raglan increases and shoulder increases are worked along the top center of the sleeves. Once all increases are completed, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked in the round. Stitches are picked up for the neckline and the sleeves are then knitted at last.
Size guide
Darcy Blouse is designed with approx. 5-10 cm 2-4” of positive ease. The blouse shown in the photos have approx. 10 cm 4” of positive ease. Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the largest part of your upper body). Then, compare this measurement to the finished garment measurements listed at the beginning of the pattern. Positive ease is the difference between your body measurement and the blouse’s measurement. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm 37 “, a size M will give you a positive ease of 5 cm 2”
(99 cm – 94 cm = 5 cm) 39” - 37” = 2”.
