Dappled Moonlight is a reversible shawl that begins with just two stitches, then gradually grows into a right triangle. It is a pleasure to knit, combining garter stitch with an assortment of simple eyelet and mesh stitches.

The pattern calls for fingering-weight yarn, but you can easily substitute sport or lace-weight yarn. If you would like a larger shawl, instructions for increasing the size of the final lace border are included. The eyelet stitches look beautiful in so many types of yarns: choose from solid, semi-solid, gently variegated, speckled, mohair and gradient yarns to create your favorite look.

Instructions are fully written, with an optional chart.

For a wrap/scarf version of this design, see Dappled Sunlight.

Blocked Measurements
