Dapper Apple Cosy
This pattern is
available for free.
This super quick and easy project are super handy to have a few on hand to pop and apple or other medium sized round fruit to protect from bruising.
You could make one as a gift for a friend, workmate or your childs teacher. Choose two of your favourite colours and a gorgeous button and within an hour or so you’ll have finished this quick project!
All you need is 2 of your favourite colours of cotton yarn. I have made these mostly in 4 ply cotton, but the pattern works equally well in 8 ply cotton or DK acrylic.
You’ll also need 1 button of approx 1 cm, a 3.5mm crochet hook, thread (or the same cotton yarn) for sewing on the button, a stitch marker as the cosy is worked in rounds, a needle and scissors.
