Spring is here and baby chicks are hatching! Celebrate Spring by making this cute little chick.

This baby chick measures 9 inches from the top of the head to the bottom using worsted weight yarn and a size D crochet hook. The kind of yarn, size crochet hook, and tension while crocheting will make the size of your chick vary.

Main Color Yarn - 130 yards
Secondary Color Yarn - 35 yards
3.25mm crochet hook/ size D (or desired size)
14 mm safety eyes (or desired size)
Ribbon to tie around the neck (optional)
Fiberfill Stuffing
Yarn Needle
Sewing Pins to hold pieces in place before sewing (optional)
