Daniel's Hat and Scarf
Daniel’s Hat and Scarf set is named for a dear friend’s father who passed on from cancer. It is in his honor that I am donating this pattern to Cast Off Chemo! as part of the fight against cancer. The patterns feature a seeded rib stitch with the occasional diagonal stripe. The diagonal stripe is made using increase and decrease stitches, so no cable needle is needed. Enjoy, and thank you for helping this worthy cause!
Getting Started: Color changes are written into the hat pattern. They are not written into the scarf. For the scarf, start with the left over yarn of color A, work until there is not enough for another row, then move to color B, and continue in this manner through all the colors. There will be just enough left over yarn from the largest size hat to make the scarf.
Note that one March Hare mini-pack is used plus one March Hare skein.
All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go to Cast Off Chemo! to support the cancer research of Dr David Krag. For more information, go to castoffchemo.org.
