Dandelion Necklace
I am totally obsessed with dandelions, and this crocheted necklace is the cottagecore fairy accessory of your dreams. The pattern is very straightforward, and I included lots and lots of instructional photos to guide you.
I made my samples with an H/5.00mm hook and worsted weight yarn - one same with a lighter weight Cascade 220 and one sample in a medium weight acrylic worsted (unlabeled but akin to Vanna’s Choice and Big Twist).
You use a variety of stitch lengths to create the leaves, so please be familiar with chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet. The dandelion flowers are pom poms that I made with a store-bought pom pom maker. I do not include a tutorial for how to make a pom pom, as there are already many that are easy to find on the internet, even using pieces of cardboard.
There are not many components to this necklace, but you can have a lot of fun playing with the numbers of leaves and flowers you use and how you arrange them. I’m excited to see yours!
