Introduction
This design is a tribute to autumn, with mohair halo bringing in the misty mornings, nupps symbolizing the season of fruit and nuts, and simple ribbing mimicking the naked trees. Those tree branches decrease on the crown generously covered with the nupps.
The beanie is worked seamless in the round from the bottom up. The yarn combination makes it a very light yet super warm and adds a luxurious element, lifting up otherwise a minimalistic design.

Yarns
ca. 20 (25, 30) g of Isager Alpaca 2, 50% alpaca and 50% merino with 250 m/ 270 yd in 50 g (shade 3) with estimated yardage of ca. 100 (125, 150) m /108 (135, 162) yds
held together with 2 strands and 30 (35, 40) g of Filcolana Tilia, 70% kid mohair and 30% silk with 210 m/230 yd in 25 g (shade 136). Or any other similar yarn(s) to match the gauge.

Needles and Notions
A pair of 4.0 mm (US 6) 40 cm (16 in) cable needles or a set of 20 cm (8 in) double-pointed needles; 1 stitch marker; a crochet hook or a tapestry needle.

Gauge
18 sts and 30 rows in 10 cm/4 in with stockinette stitch on 4.0 mm (US 6) needles in the round after steam blocking. Adjust the needle size to obtain the correct gauge if necessary.

Sizes
The pattern is written for 3 sizes fitting kids and adults alike:
Small, Medium and Large to fit respectively 46–50 (18–19.6 in), 52–56 cm (20–22 in) and 58–62 cm (22.8–24.4 in) head circumference.

Construction
The beanie is worked bottom up in the round. Rows of ribbing of the brim are separated from the main body by a section of reverse stockinette stitch, which keeps the fold in place. Gradual decreases shape the crown. Nupps are optional and can be skipped or replaced with bobbles.
