Daisy of Downton Abbey is the Kitchen Maid and every time I see her on the series, I think of sepia tones. The yarn used for this is sepia in nature, but with some green thrown in for good measure.
The scarf is long, knit sideways with short row ruffles at each end. It also has a daisy pattern from the Home Work 1891 web site, so that while the scarf looks utilitarian, it has a bit of whimsey, if you look close enough.
