Daisy Delightful is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom of the foot to the top of her head. Her color stranded ears are worked in the round. There is also the option of solid color ears if color stranded knitting is just not your thing. Her dress is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down with a color stranded waistband.

The ears can be sewn on or, with a unique fastening technique, the ears can be changed out as often as the clothing. All my softies have the same size body and their clothes are interchangeable.

If you prefer to knit softie’s body piece by piece and then seam the pieces together, you can use one of my other patterns. Sweet Suzi’s Sunday Undies Kitty, Wyatt’s Deer, Angel Ears Bunny and Pebbles and Peony Baby Doll all have instructions for knitting each piece either flat or in the round and then seaming them all together.
