This shawl is based on the formulations of a pi-shawl. The model was knit on a size US 6 needle but could be knit on a US 4 or US 5 needle. Varying the size of needle will also vary the amount of yarn used and its blocked size.

Four skeins of the Alpaca Lace Paints from Cascade was the chosen lace weight yarn, however any lace weight could be substituted.

The original color chosen was undesirable, so the completed shawl was over dyed using a koolaid dye solution.
