To crochet this charming beret, I worked the Dahlia Petals Stitch in the round instead of back and forth. It does not change the stitch at all, but adds great texture around the edge of the hat, framing the wearer’s fact in a lovely way.

The smaller hook is used for the brim of the hat.

Finished size is 21” in circumference, 9” deep from crown to brim.
