March’s birth month flower is the daffodil and since it is one of the first flowers to emerge after the cold dark winter, it symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings. It also represents joy, positivity and an appreciation for being alive.
This double knit square makes a great gift for your friends born in February! If you’re unfamiliar with double knitting, this small potholder is a great way to learn this knitting technique. Both sides are the same, except with reversed colors. You’ll get the accomplishment of finishing a beautiful project and the confidence of adding a new skill to your knitting basket.
With this instantly downloadable PDF pattern, you’ll have all the help you need to get started!
This pattern includes written instructions, a chart, and links to video tutorials for the invisible cast on, invisible bind off, slip stitch edging, and I-cord loop. You’ll end up with a professional looking finished project that you’ll be proud to give as a gift or keep and put on display.
