Daenah Pram Blanket
I wanted to design a smaller blanket that could be used to tuck into a pram, pushchair or into a car seat without being bulky or trailing on the ground. I worked the blanket as a square, starting at the centre, using some of my favourite crochet stitches: popcorns, back and front post trebles, and back loop stitches. I wanted the design to be relatively straight forward, so that I could enjoy the rhythm of the stitches without constantly referring to the pattern, but that also included a little challenge. I used one Stylecraft Batik Swirl on a 4mm hook. The pictures show two blankets, one worked in shade Meadow and the other in shade Forest.
